Aviateurs Québec et COPA signent une entente de collaboration

Aviateurs Québec (AQ) et la Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) ont officiellement signé une entente de partenariat visant à renforcer la promotion, le développement et la sécurité de l’aviation générale au Québec et partout au Canada.

Cette collaboration reconnaît les rôles complémentaires des deux organisations : COPA, porte-parole national de l’aviation générale, et Aviateurs Québec, qui rassemble et représente les pilotes québécois tout en favorisant l’accessibilité à l’aviation et la sécurité des vols.

L’entente prévoit notamment la promotion conjointe des activités de formation, le partage de ressources éducatives, la création d’une bibliothèque commune d’articles, ainsi que la mise en valeur d’initiatives destinées à faire découvrir l’aviation au grand public. Les deux organisations travailleront également à l’organisation d’événements conjoints, à la coordination de leurs efforts de communication et à la promotion mutuelle de leurs adhésions respectives.
Cette alliance permettra également une meilleure concertation sur les enjeux touchant l’aviation générale, notamment auprès des décideurs et des organismes gouvernementaux, tout en préservant l’autonomie et l’identité de chacune des associations.

En travaillant ensemble, AQ et COPA souhaitent offrir davantage de services aux pilotes, favoriser le développement d’une culture de sécurité toujours plus forte et défendre efficacement la liberté de voler pour les générations actuelles et futures de passionnés d’aviation.

Aviateurs Québec and COPA join forces for the benefit of general aviation

Aviateurs Québec (AQ) and the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) have officially signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening the promotion, development and safety of general aviation in Quebec and across Canada.

This collaboration recognizes the complementary roles of the two organizations: COPA, the national voice of general aviation, and Aviateurs Québec, which brings together and represents Quebec pilots while promoting accessibility to aviation and flight safety.

The agreement provides for the joint promotion of training activities, the sharing of educational resources, the creation of a common library of articles, and the promotion of initiatives designed to introduce aviation to the general public. The two organizations will also work to organize joint events, coordinate their communication efforts and promote each other’s memberships. This alliance will also allow for better coordination on issues affecting general aviation, particularly with decision-makers and government agencies, while preserving the autonomy and identity of each of the associations.

By working together, AQ and COPA aim to offer more services to pilots, foster the development of an ever-stronger safety culture and effectively defend the freedom to fly for current and future generations of aviation enthusiasts.
