Vous êtes cordialement invités au huitième rendez-vous aérien à CTQ2 (Stanstead Weller) le dimanche 9 septembre 2018. Si vous décidez de rester pour la nuit avec la tente sous l'aile de votre avion, vous êtes les bienvenus.

Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, il y aura des hamburgers Beefalo (bœuf d'élevage hybride de Bison et bœuf) avec salade et blé d'Inde à volonté pour 15 $.

Nous aurons aussi certains items à vendre:

• Cidre sucré en saison
• Chiots Golden Retriever
• Produits d'auto cueillette (vous prenez, pesez et coché sur une liste de prix et payez dans le pot), et verger de pommes et poires
• Pêche à la truite.
• N'oubliez pas notre variété de pommes de terre "Golden Delicious" . Nous devrions aussi avoir un chalet à louer près de l'un de nos étangs.

Enfin, nous continuons à tenter, sans succès, d'avoir l'Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) pour dédouaner les pilotes américains sur une période de deux heures (10 h à 12 h). Et, tout cela en dépit du fait que la GRC utilise hebdomadairement CTQ2 pour le contrôle de la frontière, épargnant au gouvernement canadien des milliers de dollars en temps d'hélicoptère et de main d'œuvre. Il serait judicieux et même aidant que vous fassiez parvenir une requête pour permettre aux pilotes américains d'avoir le privilège de venir atterrir directement à CTQ2 ce dimanche du 9 septembre en écrivant à: Marie-Claude.Bibeau.C1A@parl.gc.ca  Jacqueline Belleau est son Adjointe de circonscription.

Eighth Fly in at Stanstead/Weller CTQ2

Our eighth annual meeting at CTQ2 (Stanstead Weller 2,600' of good grass) on Sunday, September 9,  2018. If you wish to stay for the night in a tent under your plane's wing, you are more than welcome.

Regarding food, there will be our grass fed Beefalo hamburgers, salad and corn on the cub,  all from the farm as much you want for 15$.

We also have farm items for sale:  sweet cider in season, Golden Retriever puppies, u-pick garden produce(pick, weigh on scale, check price sheet, pay into jar), and orchard apples and pears, trout fishing.  Don't forget our special own variety of potatoes- "Golden Delicious" .  We should have a cabin for rent on one of our ponds too.

We are still trying to get the Canadian CBSA to come give customs clearance for a two hour period from 10am to 12 noon, but not having any luck.  This is in spite of the fact I let the RCMP use CTQ2 every week for their patrol of the border, saving the Canadian government thousands of dollars in manpower and helicopter time.  It might help if US pilots all sent an email requesting the privilege of flying direct to CTQ2 that Sunday to:  Marie-Claude.Bibeau.C1A@parl.gc.ca   Jacqueline Belleau is her Office Director.
